The family grows, the house grows with it.
The project proposes to reconcile the scale of the intervention with that of the surrounding neighborhood. The integrity of the existing house is maintained, and a series of additions generate a new volumetry. On one side the roof is elevated to create an additional bedroom, on the other a small house for children leans against the existing house and rests on the garage. The roof and added volumes are all clad with corrugated metal lacquered white. The existing structure and supplements are distinguished via a play of textures and materials while their common color creates a common identity.
